Ms. Zucker is able to obtain favorable results for her clients, and represents both Men and Women in high conflict cases:
Obtained joint legal custody and shared physical custody for Father:
In a high conflict divorce and custody case, Mother desires to prohibit Father’s access to the parties’ children and attempted to deny any rights of Father to overnight visitation based upon her fear that Father had a girlfriend. Mother even attempted to ban overnight visitation with Father both pending the litigation and permanently. Ms. Zucker was able to overcome the obstacles and remove Mother’s prohibitions on overnight visitation pending the litigation, and obtain for Father joint legal and physical custody of the parties’ children. Father was able to obtain shared physical custodial schedule having 6 overnights out of every 14 day two week cycle.
Obtained joint legal and physical custody for Father:
In a high conflict divorce and custody case, Mother tried to prohibit Father’s access to the parties’ children and attempted to prohibit unsupervised visitation for Father. Mother made false allegations of sexual abuse by Father against the parties’ minor child to Child Protective Services, and continued to make false allegations on an ongoing basis. Mother refused to let go of her fear of sexual abuse of the child even after a finding of no abuse by CPS. Ms. Zucker was able to obtain unsupervised overnight visitation for Father pending the litigation after several failed attempts by prior counsel in the case. Father was able to obtain a shared physical custodial schedule having 6 overnights out of every 14 day two week cycle; and an agreement to move to a shared 50/50 schedule.
Obtained sole legal and physical custody for Mother:
In a high conflict divorce and custody case, Mother feared for her minor children because Father had a history of unreported emotional abuse during the marriage and was an undiagnosed alcoholic. Ms. Zucker was able to obtain supervised visitation with Father for an extended period of time and for Mother to have sole legal and physical custody of the parties’ minor children.
Obtained joint legal custody (with final decision making authority) and physical custody for Mother:
In a high conflict divorce and custody case, where Father had a greater access to money due to the fact he earned approximately a 7 figure salary, and Father accused Mother of parental alienation of the parties’ minor children. Ms. Zucker was able to overcome the finding by a Judge that Mother had “alienated” her children, and obtained her final decision making authority on all issues regarding the children’s education, health and general welfare.
Obtained Wife a seven figure financial settlement in a high conflict divorce:
Husband started selling off assets titled solely in his own name in an attempt to divert funds away from division of assets in the divorce process. Despite his attempt, Ms. Zucker was able to negotiate a 50/50 division of assets including those assets that Husband sold in order to divert funds during the divorce process.
Obtained Wife spousal support award and division of assets despite Husband’s claim of poverty:
In a high conflict divorce case, Husband attempted to claim poverty by diverting his income and restricting his income in a company that he owned and managed. Husband started using all of the parties marital savings that were titled in his name only, and attempted to bring the parties’ assets down to a 0 value to avoid paying Wife spousal support and to avoid paying her any money in the division of assets in the divorce process. Ms. Zucker was able to obtain a financial award for Wife and obtain her 8 years of spousal support in a 10 year marriage despite Husband’s attempt to impoverish himself.
Obtained Husband’s goal of providing less money to his Wife in division of assets:
In a high conflict divorce case, Husband desired to provide Wife less than 50% of his retirement savings and investments in the divorce process. Ms. Zucker was able to strategically organize his use of funds during the divorce process in order to reduce Wife’s entitlement to the marital funds during the divorce process. Wife still received 50% of the marital share of assets, but her 50% share was reduced by strategic planning on the use of funds during the litigation process.
